Something is happening in the water city of Aden. As part of the city’s preparations for marketing the properties, the development company Empirica has now become involved. On behalf of the city of Bergkamen, the company is analyzing which property sizes and building designs should be offered in the water city of Aden. Focusing on the right target group is also one of the company’s tasks.
A central question is what influence the increased construction and interest costs have on potential interested parties. In order to shed light on these aspects, questionnaires were sent to registered interested parties. The results of the analysis are expected to result in an adjustment to the planning for the water city of Aden.
A core structure of the water city of Aden is the future Lake Aden, which combines living, working, recreation, relaxation, leisure and sport in a unique way under the motto “Water in the City”. The project contributes to transferring the site’s industrial history into the 21st century and creating a modern and versatile urban district for different lifestyles and living styles. In addition, the water city of Aden is part of the Bergkamen/Lünen Future Garden as part of the International Garden Exhibition (IGA) 2027.
