During the first shoot, the amateur photographers have to take pictures of children who are taken care of by so-called mamas from the MAMAS Children’s Fund. An emotional shoot for the celebrities. Jaap Jongbloed does not keep it dry. “I won’t forget the impression I got here.”
Numidia is the last to hear her appreciation after the shoot. This is often a sign that the person has the lowest grade in the group. “I’m a bit disappointed, because I really expected my photo to be good enough. Maybe photography isn’t for me after all.” But then Tijl Beckand comes with a surprise. “You are the winner of this shoot.” She gets a 9. “No, really?” she screams.
That’s not the only moment in the episode where she screams. During the second shoot, the photographers have to take action shots of vehicles in a sandy landscape. Numidia is assigned sandboarders. Something she won’t soon forget.
The artists in the sand are not really appreciated by Numidia. “I got so much stress from them. They just don’t do what I say. I’m glad I won the previous assignment because this…” she says disappointed.
A little later it goes really wrong. She lets the sandboarders board at her so she can get an action shot. She does not expect that she will become part of the action herself. The sandboarder slams into her at high speed, sending them both falling into the sand. Numidia then bursts into tears.
“The first thing I think about at such a moment is: I don’t want to go home. At that moment you can’t think normally. There are all kinds of flashes that go through your head. I was very shocked. Really, really bad.” she says on camera afterwards. She tells Tijl: “I think it’s a muscle, so there’s nothing bad going on, you know. I was too enthusiastic, I think. I didn’t look out.”
She goes to the doctor with Tijl and that means the end of the shoot. She sustained no serious injuries from the collision.
Content creator Wildebras also has to photograph the sandboarders. He’s not happy about that. They don’t do what he says and they’re really not good at their sport at all. “Three times nothing this. He can’t do it, man.”
Despite the bad subject, Numidia and Wildebras don’t have to go home. They may continue to the next episode. The curtain falls for Jaap, who reacts understandingly. “I felt it coming. It is completely justified. I really like the others better. I can live with that very well.”
