There is a corona case at the Carl Helbing School in the Emmendingen vocational school center: The Emmendingen health department was informed on Monday by the responsible health department in another district that a person who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 was not in the Emmendingen district lives, attended classes at the Carl Helbing School in Emmendingen last Wednesday in an infectious state.
The health department in Emmendingen identified 13 classmates from the districts of Lörrach, Emmendingen, Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald, the city of Freiburg and the Ortenau district as well as four teachers as close contacts. You must therefore go into quarantine at home by September 30, 2020.
Those affected were informed on Monday by the school management of the Carl-Helbing-Schule about the quarantine required from now on. The responsible health authorities from the other districts will also contact you and offer a voluntary corona test.
All other pupils at the Carl-Helbing-Schule can continue to attend regular classes.
Since another health department is processing the case due to the place of residence of the infected person, it is not counted in the corona case statistics of the Emmendingen district.
