Emmenbrücke LU: Masked employee threatened with knife and robs gas station

A man dressed in black entered the petrol station shop at Sedelstrasse 1 in Emmenbrücke shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. “He threatened an employee with a knife and demanded cash in broken German,” Lucerne police said on Wednesday. He stowed the money in a sack and then fled in an unknown direction. It is not yet clear how much money the perpetrator stole.

The search carried out by the Lucerne police has so far been unsuccessful, it is said. The police are now looking for witnesses to the incident. The alleged perpetrator is described as very slim. He is 180 to 185 cm tall. He wore black clothes, a hoodie and was masked with a scarf/cloth.

The perpetrator was presumably “previously in the area of the properties at Talstrasse 6 and the Centro Papa Giovanni at Seetalstrasse 16”, according to the police.
