Emmanuel Petit suggests Neymar would be the best fit for Arsenal

Emmanuel Petit believes PSG superstar Neymar would be the best fit to join Arsenal.

Neymar has been a player who has been heavily linked with a shock move to the Premier League, with reports suggesting he is a player Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in signing.

PSG tried to sell Neymar last summer but were unable to find a buyer for the Brazil international, who also wanted to stay at the French club.

However, ESPN reports that Neymar has changed his stance ahead of the summer window and is now interested in moving away from PSG, and amid all the speculation and rumors, Petit has told him to move to Arsenal.

He said: “I think Neymar suits any big club. If he comes to Arsenal, I would love it and I think he would too.

I think he will enjoy technical football and the Arsenal style. He would love to play with younger players as he is quite mature himself.

“He will also have revenge on his mind with everything that has been going on at PSG and the tears he shed at the World Cup.

I think he will be happy to move to Arsenal if that is the case. He can play left and right, and because of his ankle injuries he can be a player in the rotation.

“If he goes to Man Utd, I’ll be very happy for them and the Premier League.

“They have Rashford and Sancho who can handle both wings, but they also have the skills to rotate so Neymar can easily fit into that cycle.”

Neymar is still one of the most important players in the game and his name will generate a lot of income.

But anyone expecting him to come in and light up the Premier League, score lots of goals and entertain the fans, may think again, he’s not that kind of player anymore.

Plus we can’t see Arsenal paying their massive salaries of £500k a week.
