Emmanuel Macron’s communications advisor leaves the Elysée. Frédéric Michel, 51, who has been responsible for communications for the President of the Republic since September 2022, announced Thursday, December 14 that he was leaving his position to join MCH Group, a Swiss marketing group, operator of large art fairs contemporary. “It has been a true honor to work for President Macron”he declared on his Linkedin page
At the Elysée, the man who was not close to Emmanuel Macron from the start was sometimes criticized, in the presidential camp, by some who judged him to be disconnected from French politics. Former chief lobbyist for Rupert Murdoch, he notably advised the President of the Republic to grant an interview to Pif Magazinepublished in the midst of social protest.
