Emmanuel Macron taken to task by “yellow vests” at the Tuileries

Emmanuel Macron was arrested by “yellow vests”, Tuesday July 14 in the evening, about police violence, while he was walking in the Tuileries garden with his wife. A video posted on the “Yellow Vests Info” Facebook page shows several people who start to sing when they see him ” We are here “ – the rallying air of the “yellow vests” -, chant “Macron resignation” and “You’re going to fire”.

Whoever films, and who the bodyguards are trying to keep away, exclaims in amazement “It’s incredible, we fall on the black beast”. The small group of “yellow vests” begins to follow the presidential couple, covering by his hoots the calls for calm of the president who then decides to come and talk to them.

“Why you gave the BRAV [brigade de répression de l’action violente], they are violent »shouts the filming man to him. To which Emmanuel Macron responds: “It is not the President of the Republic who does that. “ The BRAVs, motorcycle units, were put back into service to intervene during the demonstrations of “yellow vests”.

“Be cool”

“It’s a holiday, I’m walking with my wife and you call me”, he regrets. “Be cool”, replies the president, smiling, which relaxes the atmosphere. “You are my employee”, continues the filming man. “We breathed gas to death an hour ago”, he adds, probably referring to the Parisian demonstration for the hospital marked by clashes with the forces of order.

“You are not models of respect either”, replies Emmanuel Macron, “There are some in your home who are violent”, “People, they are tired of Saturdays”, he continues. “But you know there are problems”, retorts the “yellow vest”, citing “Purchasing power, tax justice” but also the Balkany affair and the pension reform.

“Why the police got there, because you didn’t just demonstrate, it broke down massively”, argues the president, under the protests of the small group who launched him: “You are not going to the demonstrations! “The feeling of injustice, I hear it”, argues the head of state.

Visibly delighted to have been able to speak to the president, the “yellow vest” thanks him and exclaims: “I can’t even curse him. “ “So much the better!” “, replies the head of state.
