Sixteen children, all football playersUS Epouvilleclose to Havre (Seine-Maritime)were surprised to receive the encouragement of the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron but also Youtuber Momo Henni or the French Ballon d’Or Jean Pierre Papin just before the international tournament in which they participated in ommento Netherlandsfrom May 26 to 29, 2022.

Guillaume Leceurs and Dorian Moretto, two educators from the US Epouville club which brings together 350 licensees, wanted to make this moment magical for the children. And the challenge has been largely met. Indeed 16 of them, divided into two teams, took part between May 26 and 29 in an international tournament bringing together no less than 64 teams and eight nations.
When they arrived on site, in Ommen, in the Netherlands, the children were surprised to see a 16-minute video with French football stars to encourage them, but not only… The first encouragement indeed came of President Emmanuel Macron: “I wanted to wish good luck, good luck to the U13s of Epouville. It’s your turn ! »

Édouard Philippe, mayor of Le Havre, obviously could not miss the opportunity and he too sent his message via video. For 16 minutes, big stars of French football follow one another. Luis Fernandes, Momo Sissoko, Vikash Dhorasso or even Jean-Pierre Papin, Dimitri Payet took part in the video.
