During the interview, Emma starts talking about the alleged quarrel between Chantal and Linda de Mol, which is still not resolved. Emma stands up for Linda, whom she sees as a great example. “In with you from Volkskrant I said two years ago that I would like to become Linda de Mol. She is not only a presenter, but also a brand,” said Emma. “I also want to be a brand. Of course I meant all that in a bit ironically. But Linda remains the number one. She has an empire.”

Then Emma can’t help but lash out at Linda’s competitor. “Chantal does act like she’s number one, but she’s not.” Emma hopes to one day follow in Linda’s footsteps. “I also just want to become number one. Especially the game shows that Linda de Mol does, that attracts me enormously. I think that’s such a magical thing. I hope to be able to do that someday. Then I would like to be: Astrid Joosten meets Linda de Mol meets Willem Ruis.”

The quarrel between Linda and Chantal would have arisen when Chantal left the program Oh, What A Year! went to present. The program was initially presented by Linda, but she was not allowed to take the program with her when she made the switch from RTL to Talpa. Linda said the following about it at the time: “Yes, I think a lot of that, but I don’t want to say anything about it. It’s painful and all I can say is that if the situation had been reversed, I wouldn’t have done it.” .”
Emma may be critical of Chantal, but our own Leco van Zadelhoff recently criticized her outfit for the Televizier-Ring Gala:
