Emma Tallulah Behn: – Märtha’s daughter for the European Championships

Earlier this month went Emma Tallulah Behn (12), the daughter of Princess Märtha Louise (49), to the top in a national equestrian event in Lier with the horse Fetoucha.

Now the young rider has been taken out to the European Championships for children, juniors and young riders in show jumping, writes the Norwegian Equestrian Federation in a press release. The championship will take place in Vilamoura, Portugal from 19 to 25 July.

Princess Märtha Louise tells Se og Hør that her daughter is looking forward to being with the national team and representing Norway for the first time in both the Nordic and European Championships.

– We congratulate everyone who has been taken out to the championships and look forward to the trip, says the princess through her manager Carina Scheele Carlsen.

Princess Märtha Louise was herself a show jumper for many years and asserted herself on a national level. When Emma Tallulah won a riding competition earlier in June, Heidi Skar, longtime horse commentator at Discovery, thought that the victory must be among the 12-year-old’s greatest achievements on horseback.

Proud mother

Behn has won several competitions, including last summer. At the time, the mother was clearly proud:

«My little angel won his first Mini Prix today, with the most beautiful Lyncott Fancy Pants (the horse, journ.anm.). Together they are unbeatable. The dedication this little soul has for their horses is so touching. I’m so proud of you, dear Emma », the princess wrote proudly in the post, which also consisted of several photos and video clips of the 12-year-old in action.
