When Skuru received Höör on Sunday, it was not just a replay of the Swedish Championship final.
It was also a match in the match between the left six Emma Rask in Höör and Elin Hansson in Skuru.
Skuru won the match with 32-29, most goals of the current World Cup left-handers scored Emma Rask who had time with five, Elin Hansson stayed at three.
Before the European Championships in Denmark last year Tomas Axnér rebid from Oliva Mellegård and Clara Lerby, both with cruciate ligament injuries, and Marie Wall was pregnant.
Axnér called in the championship debutants Emma Rask and Elin Hansson.
– I feel good that I got the chance to be with when many were injured, says Rask.
Emma Rask gained a lot of confidence and together with the midfielder Linn Blohm was the one who got the most playing time of all
– I got almost 60 minutes in each match. It was also an experience.
Axnér chose to go to the Olympics in Tokyo to just take out a left six and now he bet on Elin Hansson.
– I was very surprised to be selected and just tried to do well in every match, she says.
Emma Rask was allowed to go with but only as a reserve.
– I was prepared to jump in if Elin was injured. I got to experience an Olympics in a slightly different way than the others, Rask states.
