According to “housesittingmagazine.com“, “a service whereby a homeowner entrusts his property, belongings and, in 98 percent of cases, his pets, to one or more ‘house sitters’ for a specific period of time.” This is usually intended to bridge vacations or longer trips.

Truscott started two years ago. She also works remotely as a virtual assistant and copywriter, writes “What’s the Jam”. She has already lived in 29 houses. The woman from Cornwall, England, will soon be looking after her 30th house, which is in Belgium.

No bills, rent or mortgage: woman can save £12,000

Truscott estimates that as a single person she can save around £12,000 (€14,250) a year because she doesn’t have to pay bills, rent or a mortgage.

She tells “What’s the Jam” how enthusiastic she is about “housesitting” and says, among other things: “The biggest benefits are that I can live like a local in neighborhoods all over the world, see places I didn’t know existed, and don’t have to pay for accommodation.”

Pensioner can save on energy and water bills with her job

Pensioner Anthea Hewitt earns money by “housesitting” and can supplement her pension. This is reported by “gbnews.com”. In addition to her salary, Hewitt receives food and travel expenses.
