Emma Heming Opens Up About Feeling Guilty About Wealth Amid Husband Bruce Willis’ Dementia

The wife of actor Bruce Willis, Emma Heming, spoke about feeling guilty about her wealth. She admitted this in a column for the Sunday Paper.

Heming says she feels guilty because her family has the means to cope with her husband’s dementia, while other families may not.

“When I go on a hike to clear my mind, I remember that not all caring people can afford it. When our family’s story comes into focus, I am reminded of the thousands of untold and unheard stories, each worthy of compassion and attention,” she wrote.

Heming, 45, believes her mission is to support those going through the same thing.

“I want you to know that when other families dealing with dementia contact me, I see in their stories a reflection of their own grief, loss, incredible sadness,” she says.

Heming and Willis have two daughters: 11-year-old Mabel and 9-year-old Evelyn.

At the end of September, Heming spoke out about the progression of her husband’s dementia.

She revealed that the 68-year-old actor suffers from frontotemporal dementia, which leads to a gradual loss of cognitive abilities, back in February 2023. The actor’s wife called the actor’s condition serious.
