Lady Di’s role in The Crown has provided great opportunities for Emma Corrin, who these weeks collects his great work with nominations at the Golden Globes and the SAG Awards. The actress has a new project from Amazon Studios, where you will be very well accompanied by one of the men of the moment: Harry Styles.
The romantic drama starring this duo will be directed by Michael grandage (The book publisher) under the name of My Policeman. It’s about the adaptation of the eponymous novel by Bethan Roberts, for which it will feature the libretto by Ron Nyswaner (Philadelphia, Homeland).
The story of the film will center the action in England in the late 1990s with flashbacks to the past. It all begins when Tom and Marion decide to take the elderly Patrick home, where he will remember the seismic events that occurred four decades ago and will tell the love story between Tom and Patrick, in a time when homosexuality was illegal.
Styles will play Tom, while Corrin will play Marion. The actress seems to be delighted with her participation in productions that turn to past times and it is that in recent years she has triumphed with The Crown Y Breaking the rules. For his part, the singer Harry Styles continues with his first steps in the cinema, which would begin with his successful participation in Dunkerque (2017).
