Emirati sports commentator Fares Awad sent a message about what is happening in Palestine before the start of the Brazil-Uruguay match, offering sincere condolences to the innocent martyrs.
Awad said before the start of the Brazil match: “Wherever you are in the great Arab world, we offer our sincere condolences to ourselves first and to all our families and brothers in Palestine and Gaza specifically for all the comprehensive destruction and genocide of children and women everywhere that innocent people are exposed to there.”
He added: “The smell of death suffocates all living things. There is no water, no electricity, no food, no housing, no safety, not even a hospital. A heinous crime and violation of all human rights in front of the eyes of the whole world.”
He continued: “Oh God, have mercy and kindness toward our family. We entrust them and our hearts are with them, O Lord, so grant them goodness, security, justice, and peace, and be their supporter, O Lord of the Worlds.”
