Emirati Cadres Competitiveness Program ‘Nafis’: Over 11,000 Companies Join in 2023

The number of institutions and companies affiliated with the private sector that have joined the Emirati cadres competitiveness program “Nafis” since the beginning of this year 2023 until yesterday, Sunday, reached 4,115 companies, bringing the current total number to 11,132 companies that joined the program, recording an increase of about 58.6% over the number of companies until the end of December of last year, which was estimated at 7017 companies.

Institutions, companies and employers registered in Nafes offer thousands of vacancies in various fields, in addition to providing training opportunities for national cadres in various work sectors in the country. These companies also benefit from salary support for employees and discounts on pensions.

The vacancies offered by the companies joining the program include education, accommodation and food service activities, finance and insurance, construction, waste water and waste management, mining and quarrying, agriculture, forestry and fishing, human health and social work activities, information and communications, and the supply of electricity, gas and steam. air conditioning, arts, entertainment and recreation, other service activities, public administration and defence, real estate market activities, manufacturing, wholesale and retail trade, transportation and warehousing, administrative and support services activities, professional, scientific and technical activities and other sectors.

The program called on private sector companies to register through the “Nafes” platform, by downloading the digital identity application, creating an account for companies, then documenting the “Emirati ID” and verifying personal information, and called on citizens looking for work to quickly update their data on the platform, to benefit from advantages; Such as: the available job opportunities, and facilitating the process of automatic matching between the qualifications and experience of the job seeker and the jobs offered, and all the other advantages offered by the “Nafes” platform.

The program confirmed that it is working to increase the percentage of Emiratisation in the private sector. As establishments with 50 employees or more are required to achieve a growth of 1% in localization of skilled jobs every 6 months, indicating that adherence to the required localization rates provides many advantages that contribute to raising the company’s competitiveness and upgrading its business, such as its inclusion in the first category within The establishment classification system followed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and granting them membership in the Emiratisation Partners Club, which enables them to obtain discounts of up to 80% on the Ministry’s services.

Nafes platform No. (80062347) was designated for reporting technical problems and communicating with customer service, in order to be able to solve their problem. As some followers face the problem of suspending entry when trying to register via (UAE PASS).

Nafes aims to improve the Emirati human development system and prepare a productive and sustainable Emirati human capital in the private sector, to achieve the goals of active economic participation of citizens, in a way that supports the country’s economy, builds partnership between the government and private sectors, and empowers the private sector. So that it is a major engine in the development process, increasing the competitiveness of the labor force, enhancing the attractiveness of work in the private sector, and providing guidance, vocational training, counseling and counseling services to the participants in the program, to enhance the attractiveness of Emirati cadres to the private sector.
