On Wednesday, the UAE sent an aid plane containing 7 tons of medical supplies and testing devices to the Argentine Republic, to support the efforts of 7,000 health workers, and to enhance their capabilities to confront and limit the spread of the new Corona virus (Covid-19).
Hussein Ali bin Hilal Al Naqbi, Chargé d’Affairs at the UAE embassy in Buenos Aires, said: “The UAE and Argentina are closely linked, and the leaderships of the two friendly countries are keen to strengthen them and develop aspects of joint cooperation in many fields.”
Al Naqbi added: “The aid that the UAE sent today to Argentina comes within the framework of the tireless work that the state is doing in extending a helping hand to brotherly and friendly countries to support their efforts in combating the epidemic, and hopes that this aid will contribute to strengthening the capabilities of the medical and nursing staff in Argentina, and providing more.
