The Emirates Red Crescent has prepared a new warehouse in the city of Al-Arish in North Sinai, with an area of 1,600 square meters, to receive humanitarian aid coming from the United Arab Emirates in preparation for its entry into the Gaza Strip.

He added that an Emirati aid ship had previously arrived at the port of Al-Arish, transported by a ship with a capacity of 4,000 tons to support the residents of Gaza as part of the “Gallant Knight 3” humanitarian operation to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian brothers in the Strip.
The Emirates Red Crescent previously announced the opening of a water desalination plant launched by the UAE in Egypt to supply the Gaza Strip with drinking water daily, as part of an initiative to establish 3 water desalination plants announced by the UAE due to water scarcity in the Strip.
Also, 10 female volunteers from the medical field left from the Emirates to Gaza via the Rafah crossing to join the Emirati field hospital to provide the necessary medical treatments and aid to the Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Fadil Shousha, Governor of North Sinai, confirmed that the Emirati aid ship had previously been received during its arrival at the Al-Arish seaport, pointing out that Egypt is making great efforts to receive humanitarian and relief aid from various countries, bodies and institutions, and deliver it to the Gaza Strip. The governor appreciated the efforts made by the United Arab Emirates in supporting the Gaza Strip, noting that the UAE is one of the countries that provided large amounts of aid to the Gaza Strip.
