ABU DHABI, 8th March / WAM / Al-Ittihad newspaper said that the UAE flag and the logo of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center adorn the International Space Station, following the country’s success in leading the longest space mission in the history of the Arabs, in order to achieve Zayed’s ambition, and to embody the great support of the wise leadership by launching Qualitative projects within the framework of the UAE space program, which has a record full of achievements, distributed between preparing astronauts, sending space missions such as the “Probe of Hope” and “Explorer Rashid”, launching satellites, and encouraging the space economy sector.
The newspaper added in its editorial today under the title “Leadership in Space” that the support of the wise leadership and its encouragement of the people of the Emirates to achieve precedence and leadership in various sectors was embodied in the contact of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him.” Astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi, during his stay at the International Space Station, where the words of His Highness constituted an incentive for Al Neyadi and all the people of the country and the Arab youth to translate their dreams into reality, and also confirmed the success of the UAE’s scientific and developmental march, and its possession of the will and determination to be the state of the future.
At the end of its editorial, Al-Ittihad said that the astronauts Hazza Al-Mansoori and Sultan Al-Neyadi are the first Emirati astronauts, and they will be followed in the future by many citizens who look forward to achieving excellence, and actively participating in the country’s developmental march, by engaging in the UAE space sector, which witnessed great development. It surpassed all countries in the region, and made its global mark in the field of space exploration.
