ABU DHABI, 1st February, 2020 (WAM) — Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazaa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training will organize tomorrow the “Leaders’ Forum” at the start of the ninth session of the “Technical Education and Innovation Week 2023” Which will last until February 9, under the slogan “Technical and Vocational Education for All” and in conjunction with the month of innovation in the country.
A group of ministers, senior officials and experts from distinguished international institutions, including Microsoft, the European and International Skills Organization, Strata Manufacturing Company, and Omnia Educational Partnerships, will participate in the “Leaders’ Forum”, along with a group of inspiring Emirati youth who show their excellence and international excellence in several engineering and technological disciplines. .

He explained that technical and vocational education contributes to building and developing the skills of the country’s youth, according to the highest international standards, which qualifies them to meet the requirements of industrial progress and future jobs, in addition to continuing work towards developing the specialized education system according to global visions capable of bringing about a new qualitative leap that keeps pace with the latest systems and distinguished global experiences. .
He stated that the activities of the Technical Education and Innovation Week and the Leaders’ Forum gain their importance from the active participation of a group of ministers, industry leaders and international experts who present during the working sessions their successes and rich experiences, which are beneficial to officials and students, in addition to reviewing the latest technologies and new experiences in various disciplines, thus contributing to the development of a system Technical and vocational education in a manner consistent with the requirements of sustainable economic and industrial progress.
