Abu Dhabi, 4 November, WAM / The 14th edition of the Mubadala Community Tennis Cup, sponsored by the Healthpoint Hospital, will kick off tomorrow with the participation of over 300 amateur players representing the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries .
Mubadala’s program supports promising tennis talent in the UAE by encouraging young people to play, as the Mubadala Community Cup has seen the participation of thousands of tennis players aspiring to stardom since its inaugural session.
Hamid Al Shammari, Group Executive Vice President and CEO of Corporate Affairs and Human Resources, highlighted Mubadala’s enthusiasm in supporting initiatives that nurture and develop emerging talent and executives in various fields, including sports.
He added: “Our approach is in line with the objectives of the 14th edition of the Mubadala Community Cup, presented this year under the auspices of the Healthpoint Hospital, and although this tournament is primarily aimed at amateur athletes, it has greatly expanded from its first edition, and today it is a platform for young talents “.
The single elimination competitions are divided into 6 categories: 10 years and under (mixed), 12 years and under (mixed), 14 years and under (mixed), women’s singles, men’s singles and adult mixed doubles. opportunity to participate in a training course with one of the best professional tennis players during the Mubadala World Tennis Championships.
