DUBAI, 8 November / WAM / Our national beach soccer team will face their brother, the Saudi team, tomorrow at 22:00, in the first games of the NEOM International Cup group, the friendly tournament held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 9 to 12 November.
Our national team is represented in this tournament by 12 players: Jamal Muhammad, Haitham Al Kaabi, Ahmed Bishr, Walid Bishr, Abbas Ali, Kamal Ali, Abdullah Dahqani, Ahmed Malahi, Hamid Jamal, Saeed Eid, Rashid Eid, Abdullah Abbas.
Eight teams will participate in the tournament, divided into two groups, where the first group includes our national team together with the teams of Saudi Arabia, Paraguay and England, while the second group includes the teams of Brazil, Japan, Oman and Bahrain.
The first and second of each group will qualify for the semifinals, with the two winners facing each other in the final on 12 November.
The beach club had concluded its participation in the 11th edition of the Emirates Airline Cup organized by the Dubai Sports Council in collaboration with the Beach Soccer Committee of the International Federation and the Emirates Football Association, from 1 to 6 November, and succeeded to conquer the fourth place for the time The second in the history of his participation in this tournament.
In a related context, international referee Ibrahim Al-Raisi participates in match management of the NEOM International Beach Soccer Championship, and our international referee recently participated in match management of the Emirates Airline Confederations Cup in Dubai 2022.
