SHARJAH, 29th January, 2019 (WAM) — The Sharjah team was crowned champion of the Cup of His Highness, Vice-President of the State for Handball, after defeating Maliha, 33-26, during the match that was held this evening at the Khorfakkan Club hall.
The winners were crowned by His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Club, Abdul Salam Rabih Al Muhairbi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Handball Federation, and Muhammad Obaid Al Hussan, Head of Team Games Department at Sharjah Sports Club.
With this achievement, Sharjah added its third title in the current season, after winning the “Emirati Super Cup” last October, and the “Emirates Cup” in November last year as well.
