SHARJAH, November 14th, WAM / Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, commended the efforts made by the UAE Bow and Arrow Federation to promote the sport locally and internationally, as it is one of the sports priorities that enhance the competitiveness and global presence of the country’s sports.
This occurred today during Major General Saif Al-Zari Al-Shamsi’s meeting at the headquarters with His Excellency Dr Saeed Musabah Al-Kaabi, President of the UAE Bow and Arrow Federation, and Hameed Abdullah Al-Musharrekh , Secretary General of the Federation Provide logistical support for the third stage of the Asian Bow and Arrow Championship, which will be held from December 20 to 25 at the headquarters of the Al-Thiqa Club for the Disabled.
They also discussed strengthening cooperation, supporting the sport of bow and arrow and spreading its culture among the ranks of the General Command and the society of the emirate as a whole, so as to improve the quality of life of the community.
The meeting was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Jaber Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Commander-in-Chief’s Office and his deputy, Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Al Zaabi, and Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Owais, Deputy Director of the Training Department at the Police Academy in Sharjah.
For his part, Dr. Saeed Musabah Al Kaabi appreciated the considerable efforts made by the Sharjah Police General Command in supporting various sports activities, promoting awareness of sports and making it a way of life.
