The curtain fell on the tenth day of the competition after Shabab Al-Ahly took his score to 22 points, benefiting from Sharjah’s 2-2 draw with Al Ain and his superiority over Al-Wehda with equal balance in clashes directly to each other, with Shabab Al-Ahly beating Al-Wahda 2-1 in mid-September.
The round saw a lot of numbers and stats: Al-Wehda, the runners-up, maintained their position after defeating Al-Jazira 1-0, and Al-Wasl moved up to third place after defeating Bani Yas 3-1.
And with leaders Shabab Al-Ahly and Al-Wehda on 22 points ahead of Al-Wasl (21 points) and Sharjah (20 points), 4 other teams with the same number of points equal 17 points in the middle of the table , namely Al-Ain Fifth, Al-Jazira, Ajman and Ittihad Kalba, respectively.
During the tour, only one of the new managers in his first job with a team managed to achieve a positive result; While Al-Bataeh returned to victories under its new Moroccan coach Saeed Shakhit, who was appointed by the administration to replace Brazilian Caio Zanardi, while Al-Nasr’s new Croatian coach Goran Tomic lost to Shabab Al- Ahly.
The group saw 7 matches which ended in a win, with the exception of one match which ended in a draw between Sharjah and Al Ain. These matches also featured 21 goals, while 4 teams kept their nets clean, which are Shabab Al-Ahly, Al-Wahda, Ajman and Al-Bataeh.
