Emirates News Agency – Saudi Arabia, China sign comprehensive strategic partnership agreement

RIYADH, 8th December, 2020 (WAM) — The Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Chinese President Xi Jinping, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia , signed the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between the two countries.

And the Saudi news agency (SPA) specified that the Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, discussed with Chinese President Xi Jinping, before signing the agreement, the historic friendship relations between the two countries, and ways to improve them to serve the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples in various fields.

In the same context, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, discussed aspects of the bilateral partnership and the joint coordination efforts to enhance cooperation between the two countries in various fields, also in line with their vision, and discuss opportunities to invest the resources available in both countries in order to achieve common interests, as well as discuss regional developments and international affairs and matters of common interest and efforts made towards them.
