ABU DHABI, 21st February, 2020 (WAM) — Lieutenant General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, visited the International Defense Exhibition “IDEX 2023” in its sixteenth session, which is currently being held at the exhibition grounds in Abu Dhabi, organized by the “ADNEC” group, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense.
His Highness inspected a number of national and international pavilions, which display the latest developments in the defense industries sector in terms of advanced and innovative technology and equipment, which reflect the development in the national and international defense industries sector.
His Highness’s visit included the pavilions of the “Optix” company for night vision binoculars, and the “Kintsugi” company that specializes in simulation and virtual training systems. His Highness also visited the pavilion of the Emirati “Edge” group, and was briefed on the Emirati drone “Guniya”, which has advanced capabilities and multi-use military vehicles.
His Highness exchanged conversations with the exhibitors and a number of officials about the most important products and simulation systems they offer, mobile operating rooms, advanced and innovative technologies, mechanisms and equipment in the affairs of the military forces, security and protection, communications and safety, which are used as sustainable solutions for military operations.
