Emirates News Agency – Registrations for the Judo Federation Cup are closed tomorrow

ABU DHABI, September 14 / WAM / The Wrestling and Judo Federation will launch its new 2022-2023 sporting season in the Judo Federation Cup for Juniors and Youth, which will be hosted by the Fujairah Martial Arts Club next Sunday.

The Technical Committee of the Local Judo Activity announced the regulations of the technical and organizational championship approved by the Federation’s Board of Directors, which included all technical, organizational and refereeing issues.

The regulation allows the participation of 4 players at the gem level in a weight with the aim of discovering talents after allowing the participation of all nationalities, and also allowed the participation of 4 players in a weight in a youth category as an open participation for all nationalities in the ranks of member clubs.

The technical regulation sets the weights of the two categories and the list of coaches, it being understood that tomorrow, Thursday, the deadline for registrations to participate in the tournament expires, while the test and the official balance will take place next Saturday.

The preliminary rounds of the championship will begin next Sunday in the hall of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, while the finals will be held in the afternoon of the same day, followed by medal and cup award ceremonies.

His Excellency Mohammed bin Thaloub Al Darei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Wrestling and Judo Federation, congratulated all the member clubs on the occasion of the resumption of the activity of the Federation for the new season of wrestling and judo, wishing all club success and that the new season would produce promising new talents making up the support for the national wrestling and judo teams and thanked the Fujairah Martial Arts Club family for their support.Continue good cooperation.
