ABU DHABI, November 15, 2020 / WAM / Argentine national team manager Rodolfo Arwabarena has confirmed that the national team will play a tough match against Argentina, one of the top teams nominated to win the 2022 World Cup.
The UAE national team will meet its Argentine counterpart tomorrow, Wednesday, at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi as the Argentina national team prepares to participate in the 2022 World Cup, while the UAE national team prepares to participate in the 2022 World Cup Gulf Cup “Gulf 25”, the West Asian Cup and the Asian Cup during the next stage.
Arwabarina said during the press conference for the match that facing Argentina is an important and wonderful opportunity for young players to interact with international stars to benefit from their experiences.
He added: “I know very well that I am facing my country’s national team, which is one of the big teams participating in the World Cup. I hope it will be a positive and enjoyable match for both sides before the next events.”
He said: “The Argentina national team comprises a group of wonderful young players who are capable of making a difference. I hope they will participate in the World Cup while in their best shape.”
The coach of the UAE national team confirmed that the meeting will be a positive opportunity to prepare for the “Gulf 25” Arabian Gulf Cup next January.
Arruabarrena added: “After the match, I will be a fan of the Argentina national team at the World Cup and I hope it reaches the furthest point of the competition.”
