ABU DHABI, November 16th / WAM / Her Excellency Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Media Council, Director General of Dubai Government Media Office, said that the people of the UAE enjoy a future government and a leadership that looks to the future. From the establishment of the Emirates until today, emphasizing that all initiatives in all sectors, including media, are proactive and impact the present time and extend to future generations.

His Excellency explained – in an exclusive interview with the Emirates News Agency, WAM, on the sidelines of his participation in the activities of the World Media Congress in Abu Dhabi – that the World Media Congress is a successful step which underlines the integration within the UAE, and a platform to build new partnerships and bring points of view closer between Arab and international media About the organization and rich diversity of the industry from supporting investment and small and medium enterprises operating in the sector, as well as providing research and studies, as well as the various discussion sessions that talk about regional media and government communication, up to the innovation laboratory.

He added that the media sector is one of the most important prime movers within the country’s economic and development strategy and vision, which keeps pace with that rapid development movement through young industry expertise and media creative talents, indicating the provision of all forms of support such as training, infrastructure and educational means, as well as initiatives to motivate young people to provide valuable and creative content.

He emphasized that the Emirates News Agency has played a positive, constructive and effective role throughout its media career, as usual, and today it has stood out in a way that exceeds expectations, and something we are proud of as media professionals and Emiratis, emphasizing that the World Media Congress is a unique opportunity to motivate young people to view the different platforms.

He stressed that Arab media faces many challenges and needs solidarity and integration in a clear way that anticipates the future, stressing that the UAE government has created the building block to find Arab and Arab cadres to lead this industry important and vital, and that the UAE has always provided all the support in the Arab media sector, not just the local ones, through technological support and digital transformation.
