DUBAI, 15th February / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and His Excellency Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, discussed Crown Prince of Dubai, ways to improve various aspects of cooperation between the two countries and within all vital sectors that support the sustainable development goals of the two countries and serve the common interests of the two friendly peoples.
The meeting, which took place today on the sidelines of the closing day of the World Government Summit in Dubai, dealt with the overall bilateral relations and their continuous development in light of the consensus of visions on the importance of strengthening friendship ties through new paths that contribute to improving the level of coordination and exchanging expertise and successful experiences in various fields. It is consistent with the development goals of the two sides, especially in the areas of trade and tourism exchange, the green economy and renewable energy, as well as discussing all developments on the regional and international arenas and issues of common interest.
The most important goals of the tenth edition of the World Government Summit were also reviewed, which was held under the slogan “Exploring the Future of Governments”, with the participation of a group of presidents and leaders from around the world, in an effort to find innovative solutions to address the challenges facing the world, and to design new directions and the future of governments in a way that contributes to Creating a better future for generations to come.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Supreme Chairman of the Emirates Airlines Group, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council. His Excellency Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the World Government Summit Foundation, and His Excellency Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, Director of the World Government Summit Foundation.
