// Proceeding from the established and historical fraternal ties and ties between the leaders of the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman and their two fraternal peoples, and in order to strengthen the distinct bilateral relations between them, and in response to the gentile invitation of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman, that God protect him, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, made a state visit to the Sultanate of Oman to the head of a high-level delegation, Tuesday and Wednesday 1-2 Rabi ‘Al-Awal 1444 AH corresponding to 27-28 September 2022 AD
The leaders of the two brother countries held in-depth discussions that prevailed in a spirit of brotherhood and harmony, during which they emphasized the strengthening of cooperation in various fields of common interest and praised the cooperation and coordination that was achieved in the interest of the two neighboring countries.
They affirmed the important role played by the Joint Higher Committee and welcomed the effective communication between their Highnesses and Excellencies the ministers of the two countries to discuss common issues that would strengthen bilateral relations in the economic, commercial, investment and cultural fields. , diplomatic, consular and educational, in addition to the sectors of the environment, food safety, advanced technologies, innovation and renewable energy and energy projects and industry, in addition to the health and pharmaceutical sectors, real estate development, tourism, petrochemical, manufacturing industries, supply chains, transport , logistics partnership, information technology, financial technology and anything that would enhance the common benefits and interests and bring prosperity and prosperity to the peoples of the two countries.
The two sides also welcomed the signing of a series of memoranda of understanding on various aspects of bilateral cooperation.
His Highness the President and his brother, His Majesty the Sultan, have affirmed their determination to motivate the public and private sectors to intensify joint efforts to develop and diversify trade and investment exchanges and establish partnerships in various sectors and between entrepreneurs, in order to achieve integration between the two sister countries.
The two sides also exchanged views on issues and issues related to regional and international arenas and affirmed their efforts to coordinate their positions so as to serve their interests and strengthen the pillars of security and stability in the region and in the world. .
