TOKYO, January 27 / WAM / Japanese stock indices rose at the end of today’s trading, to return to their highest levels in 5 weeks.
The Nikkei index on the Tokyo Stock Exchange increased by 0.07 percent, equivalent to 19.8 points, to close at 27,382.56 points.
And the broader Topix index rose by 0.22 percent, equivalent to 4.26 points, to close at 1982.66 points.
