TOKYO, February 1 / WAM / The performance of Japanese stock indices varied at the end of today’s trading, with the Nikkei index hovering near its highest levels in a month and a half.
The Nikkei index on the Tokyo Stock Exchange increased by 0.07 percent, equivalent to 19.77 points, to close at 27,346.88 points.
While the broader Topix index decreased by 0.15 percent, equivalent to 3.04 points, to close at 1972.23 points.
