ABU DHABI, October 26 / WAM / Gordon Tang, Vice President of the Asian Olympic Council and President of the Asian Mixed Martial Arts Confederation, and Wong Sir Miang, Vice President of the International Olympic Committee, visited the Jiu-Jitsu and the Mixed of the Emirates Yesterday Martial Arts Federation.
They were received by Mohammed bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, First Vice President of the Asian Federation of Mixed Martial Arts, member of the Board of Directors of the Emirati Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Mubarak Al Menhali, Director of the Technical Department of the Federation of Jiu-Jitsu of the Emirati, Deputy Director General of the Asian Federation of Mixed Martial Arts and Tariq Al Bahri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Professional Jiu-Jitsu Association, Director of the Support Services Department in the Emirati Jiu-Jitsu Federation.
The delegation heard an explanation from Ibn Dalmouj about the UAE’s rich experience in spreading and developing the sport of jiu-jitsu and a summary of programs to discover and hone talent at an early age, create champions and host the Abu venue. Dhabi of the Asian and International Jiu-Jitsu Federations, in addition to the Federation’s plans to publish and develop the mixed martial arts game, and the great support that the sport found once announced and the formation of a mixed martial arts committee.
The delegation visited the Jiu-Jitsu Arena in Zayed Sports City and the branches of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation “The Global Investment Vision – IVI” and its annexes, and examined a detailed explanation of the hall components and the role of the companies. of the Federation’s investment in supporting the growth of sports and watched a series of videos of the most important events and tournaments organized by Abu Dhabi. It is hosted by the Jiu-Jitsu Arena for mixed martial arts and Jiu-Jitsu.
Gordon expressed his admiration for the state structures and the strategy of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation and Mixed Martial Arts in spreading and developing its sports, discovering talent and making champions, noting that the UAE has become an important international center in various combat sports, and his experience in Jiu-Jitsu has become an inspiration for all national and continental federations, in reaching the world in the shortest possible time, as well as in creating champions and organizing professional tournaments.
For his part, Mohammed bin Dalmouj confirmed that His Excellency Abdel Moneim Al Hashemi, President of the United Arab Emirates and the Asian Federations, First Vice President of the International Federation confirms on all occasions that the experience of the Jiu-Jitsu Federation of the Emirates is available to all to benefit and the Federation welcomes cooperation with all other federations inside and outside the UAE and all international organizations for the exchange of successful experiences and useful experiences.
For his part, Mubarak Al-Menhali said that the visit of the officials of the Olympic Council of Asia and the International Olympic Committee is an important foundation on which to build in the future and joint cooperation, which is in the field of the exchange of interests for the benefit of all.
