ABU DHABI, 27 February / WAM / The second edition of the “Investopia” conference 2023 will be held on March 2 and 3 in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, with the participation of more than 2,000 participants from prominent local and international personalities, including investors, government officials, decision makers and entrepreneurs from more than 40 countries. In partnership with the “Salt” Forum for Entrepreneurship and Investment, the Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi and “Crypto.com”.

The conference, which comes this year under the title “Foreseeing Opportunities in an Era of Change”, will discuss three axes, namely, exploring opportunities in today’s economy, the future of countries’ wealth, and growth opportunities for a low-carbon economy.

His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al-Marri, Minister of Economy and President of Investopia, said: The second edition of the Investopia Conference begins at a time of great global importance, as we are witnessing structural shifts in markets and investment trends globally, driven by the unprecedented progress of the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the increasing trend to shift towards investments in a sustainable economy. and low carbon, and we in the UAE have set an ambitious future vision to be the best environment for doing business, but our focus does not stop at raising the ability to attract investments only, but we pay more attention to how to achieve the sustainable development impact that we aspire to from these investments.

His Excellency added that “Investopia” is part of the UAE’s efforts to provide a new umbrella that brings together business leaders and government officials from around the world to participate in global discussions, build partnerships, and integrate new developmental and technological trends in the world of business and economy to promote sustainable future solutions.

It should also be noted that 56% of the participants in the Investopia 2023 conference come from within the UAE, 44% from other countries of the world (more than 100 nationalities), 75% from the private sector and 13% from the public sector, while 6% are from the academic and student community.
