Emirates News Agency – House of Fujairah celebrates 51st Union Day

FUJAIRAH, November 29, WAM / Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry celebrated the 51st Federation Day in the presence of Sheikh Ing. Mohammed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Director of E-Government Department, Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the UAE Federation for Body Building and Physical Strength, and Sheikh Saeed bin Sorour Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Board of the House, Sheikh Ali bin Ahmed bin Saif Al Sharqi, Sheikh Saqr bin Suroor bin Saif Al Sharqi, members of the Council, His Excellency Sultan Jamil Al Hindasi, Director General of the Chamber, and numerous officials, businessmen and women of the emirate and the Arab and foreign communities.

The ceremony began with the national anthem and a performance by the military band of the Fujairah Police General Command.

Sheikh Saeed Al Sharqi, Speaker of the House, raised the highest verses of congratulations and blessings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, State President, “may God protect him” and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum , Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him”, and His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, and their brothers, Their Highnesses the Sheikhs, Members of the Council Supreme Council, Rulers of the Emirates, loyal people of the Emirates and residents of its good land.

For his part, His Excellency Sultan Majmael Al-Hendassi, Director-General of the Chamber, said that the UAE, by celebrating the 51st Union Day, has achieved unprecedented achievements and record rates of development in all economic and social fields , which have allowed it to take its place among the most advanced and prosperous countries in the world.

The ceremony included the performance of Al-Yola, a poetic paragraph presented by poet Daoud Suleiman Al-Jahafy, dances by male and female students from Fujairah and Mershid schools for basic education, and playing the qanun by musician Rawa’a Rashid Al-Helou.
