Emirates News Agency – Gulf Educational Center in Sharjah celebrates International Day of the Arabic Language

SHARJAH, December 18 / WAM / The Arabic Language Education Center for the Gulf States today organized a celebration at its headquarters in Sharjah to mark the International Day of the Arabic Language, which falls on December 18 every year, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.

In his speech, Dr. Issa Saleh Al-Hammadi, director of the Arabic Language Education Center for the Gulf States, praised the efforts of the UAE and the Emirate of Sharjah to preserve and advance the Arabic language by launching a package of quality initiatives aimed at preserve the language of Dhad, which is represented in many programs, events and awards, appreciating the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in the service of the Arabic language and his contributions unprecedented in various educational and educational fields to preserve it and the establishment of many specialized institutions to protect the Arabic language.

Al-Hammadi announced the center’s new publications for this year 2022, which cover a general framework for the use of technology in teaching and learning the Arabic language, and a study on the development of reading skills electronics for secondary school students, as well as other programs, including workshops, trainings, the Arabic Language Challenges program now in its fourth year, and the Excellence Award in Arabic.
