ABU DHABI, 11th January 2020 (WAM) — Dr. Mamadou Tangara, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of The Gambia has praised the achievements of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments and its ability to leverage modern and artificial technology intelligence to provide their services to society.
During his visit to the authority’s headquarters, His Excellency expressed his appreciation for the UAE and its wise leadership, appreciating the strong and close communication and relationship between the two countries and the two friendly peoples.
For his part, His Excellency Mohammed Matar Salem Al Kaabi, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, welcomed the Minister and his accompanying delegation, which included His Excellency Fafa Sanyang, Ambassador of the Republic of the Gambia in the country, and thanked them for the visit, which reflects the depth of the relations extended between the two countries, leadership and people, underlining the willingness of the authority to translate the directives of the Wise leadership by communicating the human values that our Islamic religion affirms, and consolidating the values of tolerance, coexistence and peace.
His Excellency presented the Minister with the achievements of the Authority and its strategy to achieve its mission locally and globally, using the best means that allow it to provide its services to all peoples in many languages through its various platforms of communication, emphasizing the great support which the Authority enjoys from the wise guidance of the State, which has allowed it to keep pace with civilization, in step with the changes of the times.
