Ajman, January 1st / WAM / Ajman Corniche painted impressive artistic paintings adorning the sky of the emirate to celebrate the advent of the new year 2023 as the Corniche witnessed the launch of a huge fireworks display organized by the Tourism Development Department , coinciding with the national celebrations of the Gregorian New Year.

Thousands of visitors toured the front of the Corniche and surrounding areas, so they could book their sites, enjoy the quaint festive atmosphere and witness the dazzling fireworks displays.

On this occasion, His Excellency Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashemi, Director General of Ajman Tourism Development Department, congratulated the people of the Emirates and the people of the whole world on the occasion of the new year 2023, wishing that the sector of tourism in the country would witness greater prosperity and empowerment due to the diversity of tourism content spread across the beloved UAE and its ability to attract different segments of tourists and visitors.

Al Hashemi pointed out that the UAE has become one of the most important countries where visitors from different countries of the world come to enjoy the New Year celebrations and the accompanying fireworks, noting that the “Winter most beautiful in the world” launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, give a special and distinct character to New Year celebrations and winter tourism and to entertainment activities in the UAE every year, which aims to encourage the local market to discover the beauty of winter tourism destinations that the UAE is proud of.
