Emirates News Agency – Emirates Heritage Club concludes “Al Sana’ Program” in Al Samha

ABU DHABI, 10th February, 2020 (WAM) — The Emirates Heritage Club concluded the Emirati Sana’ program, which it launched at its Al-Samha Women’s Center since February 7th, and included a number of heritage activities and events for male and female students.

Fatima Al-Tamimi, Head of the Women’s Activities Department at the Emirates Heritage Club, said that the program aimed to instill a love of heritage in the hearts of the participants and consolidate the national identity in them, noting that the Al-Samha Women’s Center received the students of Al-Taweelah School and Kindergarten Al-Murjan during the days of the program, where the heritage trainers introduced them to handicrafts. Customs and traditions as an important pillar of the Emirati heritage.

She added that the craftswomen in the center presented several workshops for handicrafts, pointing out that the students toured the center to introduce them to the types of desert plants, their names, and their environmental importance, and they attended a workshop on preparing Arabic coffee, methods of serving it, and how to receive the guest in the councils.

Al-Tamimi indicated that the program also included entertainment activities such as games, drawing, drawing the UAE flag on the face, and falconry activity, through which they learned about the sport of falconry.
