CAIRO, 12 October / WAM / The Arab Republic of Egypt has welcomed the agreement that delimits the maritime borders between Lebanon and Israel.
In a statement released today by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt expressed aspiration that this agreement will help allow Lebanon to benefit from its resources to help improve the economic situation in the country and to consolidate more frameworks and areas of cooperation in the Mediterranean region.
The statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry reiterated Egypt’s full support for Lebanon’s stability and sovereignty and for achieving the aspirations of the Lebanese people.
