DUBAI, 28th February, 2020 (WAM) — The Dubai Judicial Institute officially launched its presence through “Metaverse” with the aim of providing its services and training programs specialized in the use of this technology, thus making the institute the first training body in the legal and judicial field in the world to adopt “Metaverse” in its services, in line with the Dubai Metaverse strategy. , which aims to consolidate Dubai’s position among the top 10 cities in the leading economies in this field, and to make it a major center for the global “metaverse” community.
The project to adopt “Metavirus” at the Dubai Judicial Institute will witness a number of stages in the coming period, starting with the launch of the first training program that uses “Metaverse”, to be followed by other subsequent stages, that will consolidate the presence of “Metaverse” as a basic pillar and a sustainable method of work at the Institute. In line with its strategic vision of being a leading institute that supports judicial excellence and global competitiveness, and promotes digital transformation in providing its smart services.
His Excellency Judge Dr. Ibtisam Al-Badwawi, Director General of the Dubai Judicial Institute, said: “The Dubai Judicial Institute is embarking today by adopting the Metaverse technology, in a pioneering process that will bring about a quantum leap in the training and development solutions and the various services it provides to members of the judiciary and their aides.
