ABU DHABI, December 1, WAM / Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Governing Council of the Republic of Yemen, and accompanying delegation visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, as part of his official visit to the country.

His Excellency and accompanying delegation toured, accompanied by His Excellency Dr. Yousef Al-Obaidly; Director General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center in the halls and external corridors of the mosque, and learned of the civil message of the mosque which invites coexistence, tolerance and openness towards others; emanated from the deeds and values of the founding father and the great role played by the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center in introducing the tolerant Islamic culture and promoting civil communication between different cultures and peoples all over the world.
His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were briefed on the history of the foundation of the grand building, its aesthetics and the unique properties it contained, and the most wonderful works of Islamic civilization over the centuries in terms of art and engineering projects that have met in their diversity and diversity in the design of the mosque, to reflect the beauty of the harmony and harmony of cultures in one creative work.
At the end of the visit, His Excellency was given a copy of the book “Spaces of Light”, one of the publications of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre, which includes a series of snapshots and photos of the “Spaces of Light”. photography prize organized periodically by the Center, highlighting the aesthetics of Islamic architecture in the mosque, as well as giving him a copy of the book “House of God”, which deals with the history of mosques in Islamic history, including Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque .
