DUBAI, 29th December, 2020 (WAM) — The UAE Bow and Arrow Federation has announced the organization of a coaching seminar, in partnership with the Asian Football Confederation, during the upcoming period, as part of efforts to improve the game and develop the skills of the coaching staff at national and club level, in line with the Board’s strategy for the implementation of the sustainability plan.
British National Team Coach Michael Burt presented his technical report on participation in the “Third Phase” Asian Bow and Arrow Championship to the National Teams Committee chaired by Adel Al Hammadi in preparation for studying the report and working on all the positives and negatives of the team during the tournament which was held at the Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled in Sharjah, with the participation of 200 male and female players from 31 countries.
Adel Al-Hammadi, Member of the Board of Directors of the Federation and Chairman of the National Teams Committee, confirmed that the recent Asian Championship was an important and great technical addition to our national team through friction with the best teams on the continent , and the hands-on experience of male and female players in tackling tough challenges with the best elements in the world.
He said: Coach Michael Burt has called for national team training to continue post-tournament, and several aspects related to players’ commitment to study and ‘attendance’ have been taken into consideration.
Al-Hammadi revealed to the clubs the proposed visiting schedules for the national coach in the coming period, in order to meet their coaches as part of the consultation on best results which can help share visions of the road map he is working on to achieve national goals and to start from solid foundations linked to available data, in particular promising elements on which we count to build a better future for this game.
On the other hand, the AFC has chosen the wise Sheikha Al-Khatiri to participate in the judging staff of the Asian Bow and Arrow 2023 in Thailand, which will be held next November, as the culmination of her illustrious level of judging in the Asian Championship (third stage), where his expected participation is the second at continental level, along with his Arab presence in the club championship hosted by Tunisia last October.
