AJMAN, October 25, WAM / The Fatima College of Health Sciences organized an open day to raise awareness on breast cancer, in the presence of over 200 female students from the college’s Ajman headquarters.

Dr Hamed Mohammed Al Neyadi, Senior Director of Government Relations at Fatima College of Health Sciences, said in statements to the Emirates News Agency “WAM”: “The open day included an introductory presentation for students. of secondary schools of various schools in the emirate on the characteristics of the college and the required specializations, which the college wishes to encourage female students to work in the health sector in the country, especially as the nursing sector in the UAE still needs more national frameworks , therefore the Fatima College of Health Sciences is working to prepare its students to the highest scientific, applied and technical standards and enable them to carry out the burdens of this profession with honesty, sincerity and progress.

It pointed to the major specializations of the college, which is divided into 6 specialties, namely Nursing, Emergency Medicine, Pharmacy, Medical Care, Psychology and Physiotherapy through its four locations in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Al Dhafra and Ajman .

Al Neyadi added: “Today we are proud of our Fatima College graduates and their solidarity to work in various state hospitals and health institutions, thanks to the directives and aspirations of wise leadership in recent years and the continued attention to the health aspect to double. the Emiratisation rate in this field One of our children is the new student for the first time in emergency medicine to involve them together with the students, teach them and train them, in collaboration with the sponsoring companies and the health and private government, to supply the health sector of the country of specialized national cadres.

He thanked His Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Union of Women, President of the Supreme Council for Maternity and Childhood, Supreme President of the Emirati Mother Family Development Foundation for her continued support and guidance to College and for Education in general and its pioneering role in enabling female citizens to play their effective role in serving the community in the health sector in its various specialties. objectives that contribute to the rebirth and progress of the nation and the citizen.

For her part, Fatima Abdulaziz Al-Sarkal, Supervisor for Student Affairs at the Fatima College of Health Sciences, Ajman branch, explained that the college attracted more than 200 students from different Emirates during this open day to raise awareness on cancer. breast through the activities that were presented, where scenes and scenarios for first aid were created and the models of graduate students were presented, highlighted their successes and held dialogue sessions between paramedic and nurses, awareness-raising activities on the breast cancer and a round table between secondary school students and Fatima College of Health Sciences graduates, with the aim of conveying information in clearer images on specializations, the importance of health sectors and the most important needs of the future labor market in the country.

He reported the participation of the official sponsors of the college during the events to familiarize students with the health authorities to which he enrolls immediately after graduation and presented models on first aid experiences, the modalities of health work and the role of the paramedic through models medical experiences and practices by the participants and the guidance of doctors and paramedics present, which helps to trace an idea of ​​the role of the college and the importance of health care.
