DUBAI, 27th December, 2020 (WAM) — Property transactions in the Dubai Land Department amounted to over AED 3.3 billion. Today, the department witnessed the registration of 559 loyalty pledges, worth AED 1.85 billion , including 59 pledges of allegiance to land, worth 353.86 million dirhams, and 500 pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, worth 1.49 billion dirhams.
The most notable land sales came worth AED 95 million in the Palm Jumeirah area, followed by a AED 70 million pledge in the Wadi Al Safa 4 area, followed by a AED 34 million pledge in Seih Shuaib 2 area.
And Al-Habiah region topped the fifth region in terms of the number of pledges, registering 32 pledges of AED 78 million, followed by the top Jebel Ali region, with 10 pledges of AED 34 million, and a third in Al -Yafra 2, with 8 pledges of 10 million dirhams.
As for the major sales of apartments and villas, a sale of AED 133 million came in the Island 2 area as the top sale, followed by a sale of AED 119 million in the Island 2 area, and finally a sale of 61 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area.
Al-Merkadh area also leads the regions in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, as it recorded 79 loyalty pledges, worth 107 million dirhams, followed by the third Al Thanyah area, with 61 pledges of 169 million dirhams, and a third in the Palm Jumeirah, with 46 pledges of 193 million dirhams.
Mortgages recorded a value of AED 1.29 billion, of which 27 land loans amounted to AED 605.48 million and 59 villa and apartment mortgages amounted to AED 685.42 million.
As regards donations, 12 donations were recorded, worth 190.46 million dirhams, of which the most important was in the Palm Jumeirah area, worth 180 million dirhams, and another one in the third Umm Suqeim area, with a value of 5 million dirhams.
