ABU DHABI, Oct 9, WAM / The Tourist Police Department of the Abu Dhabi Police Criminal Security Sector Investigative and Criminal Department has implemented a program to educate visitors to Al Hudayriat Beach and Al Bateen Beach in Abu Dhabi to prevent the ” drowning and swimming in designated areas with the presence of supervisors and lifeguards 24 hours a day.
Members of the Abu Dhabi Police Knights in the Special Patrols Department participated with the Tourist Police in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in the 2022 safety campaign against drowning accidents, implemented by Abu Dhabi Maritime in collaboration with strategic partners, which included the distribution of awareness brochures containing the most important instructions and emergency numbers for bathers.
Abu Dhabi police have appealed to visitors to avoid swimming at night or in the early hours of dawn, due to the great danger to their lives, and warned of the dangers of leaving children unattended while swimming in the sea beaches , underlining the need to adhere to the guide signs on the beaches and not to swim in the depths of the sea to avoid drowning accidents.
