ABU DHABI, 7 October, WAM / His Excellency Mohamed Helal Al Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a senior delegation from Jiangsu Foreign Investment and Cooperation Company (Josec), led by Zhou Yonggang, CEO of the company discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the two sides.
The visiting delegation included a number of customers and officials from the China-UAE Model Industrial Cooperation Zone, managed by the Chinese company Gosic, as well as a number of representatives from the Chinese provinces including the Shandong Business Office, the Hunan Province Trade Representation in the Middle East and Yunnan Province Trade Representation Office in the United Arab Emirates and Jiangsu Province Economic and Trade Representation Office in the country.
His Excellency Mohammed Hilal Al Muhairi, during the meeting, held at the Chamber’s headquarters, praised the strong relations that unite the United Arab Emirates to the People’s Republic of China, in particular the global strategic partnership that unites the two countries and the remarkable development which has resulted in many economic and commercial fields, in the service of the common interest of the two countries and their friendly peoples.
The Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber provided a detailed explanation of the Chamber’s services and initiatives and the role it plays in contributing to the development and regulation of commercial affairs in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and in increasing the competitiveness of the institutions of the Abu Dhabi. private sector and environmental companies, indicating the full readiness of the Abu Dhabi Chamber to collaborate with JOSIC and provide all possible facilities and information to Chinese investors and entrepreneurs, and to face any challenge that arises in front of them to reach new levels of bilateral cooperation, in a way that helps crystallize a common vision in the field of sustainable development and establish effective partnerships consistent with the indications of the two wise leaders in the two friendly countries.
For his part, Zhou Yongang stressed that all parties participating in the delegation seek to develop their relations with the Abu Dhabi Chamber, noting that the Chamber is the voice of Abu Dhabi’s private sector, which works to support, promote and protect the interests of emirate companies.
He said: “We are delighted to learn more about the policies, initiatives and services provided by the Abu Dhabi Chamber, which can be provided to the business community so that they can support and guide Chinese investors and traders to expand their business in Abu Dhabi in particular and the United Arab Emirates in general. “
He expressed his aspiration to build long-term relationships with the Abu Dhabi Chamber to enhance and enhance business opportunities and cooperation between the business community in China and Abu Dhabi.
The CEO indicated that Gosic is undertaking the process of investment, development and management of the Sino-Emirati Industrial Cooperation Model Zone in the industrial city of Khalifa in Abu Dhabi – Kizad, which covers an area of 12.2 kilometers. square, noting that the mission of this area is to enhance the UAE’s position within industrial value chains by attracting and enabling industrial investment through advanced infrastructure and integrated services, as well as reshaping global supply chains by promoting globalization of advanced Chinese industrial capabilities, which are in line with the objectives of the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 and the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative.
