Emirates News Agency – Abdullah bin Zayed meets Oman Foreign Minister in Muscat

MUSCAT, 17th December, 2020 (WAM) — His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, discussed with Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the fraternal Sultanate of Oman, the deeply rooted fraternal and historical relations between the two sister countries, in the context of his working visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
The two sides also discussed ways to improve paths of joint cooperation between the two brother countries in all fields, as well as discussing a number of issues related to developments in the region and regional and international issues of common concern.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan assessed the results of the visit made by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, State President, “may God protect him” to the fraternal Sultanate of Oman, and the important results it produced , confirming the strength of the distinct fraternal relations between the two countries and the common will to develop cooperation between them, in all fields, so as to contribute to the achievement of the interests of the two countries and their two fraternal peoples and to the strengthening of security, stability and prosperity in the region and in the world.
During the meeting, His Highness said that Emirati-Oman relations are strengthening in light of the support and care of the two brother countries’ leaderships, underlining the intention to strengthen joint cooperation in all fields in order to achieve the goals common interests of the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Saeed Mubarak Al-Hajri, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Economic and Trade Affairs, and Mohammed Sultan Saif Al-Suwaidi, UAE Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman.
